About Beaufort Condensed Medium
Beaufort is an enhanced sans with “legibility“ proportions. It is designed for optimum clarity, readibility, and word count, with a pronounced angle of stress in the lower case, which is quite large and fairly narrow in relation to the caps. Its discreet, sharp serifs add definition at text sizes, and finesse in display settings. The wide range in weight and horizontal scaling (which is exceeded only by Helvetica and Univers) is a boon for organizing complex layouts, and ideal for those who like to experiment by varying parameters. As an alternative to the usual sans serifs, Beaufort makes a good corporate face. |
