About ITC Belter Mega Outline
ITC Belter was designed as a joint effort by Andreu Balius and Joan Carles P. Casasin partners in Typerware a graphic design firm in Barcelona. Belter was inspired by and named after a Spanish record label that produced pop dance hits in the 1960s and early '70s. ITC Belter was based on the six letterforms from the original “Belter” logo and from those letters Balius and Casasin designed the whole alphabet. ITC Belter is available in a regular and mega outline weight.
