About ITC Schizoid
ITC Schizoid is the result of an almost compulsive day of sketching by illustrator Frank Marciuliano. What began with just the letter “A” developed by day’s end into a typeface which he describes as “a little crazy.” The style of these individual letters is squiggly, nervous and amusing. Marciuliano points out that he can’t stop sketching and has become enamored of fooling around with the alphabet. “As I feel each letter, I put it down,” he says. ITC Schizoid looks spontaneous and neurotic, as if rendered by a jittery hand. |
